The Dr. James Khezri car accident on Thursday, February 12, 2026, a tragic multi-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 2 near milepost 31 about two miles northeast of Gold Bar in Snohomish County, claimed the lives of three people, including beloved anesthesiologist and aesthetic injector Dr. James Khezri and his wife, Dr. Elham (Ellie) Javadi, leaving the Seattle medical community and many families heartbroken.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened around 5:17 p.m. Colin Brown, 30, of Mill Creek, was driving a white 2016 Ford Fusion westbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck head-on a 2023 Ford F-150 driven by Dr. James Khezri, 56, of Woodinville.
A third vehicle, a 2025 Honda CR-V driven by Kenzie Kosatria, 20, of Seattle, then hit the F-150, and it came to rest in a ditch on the eastbound shoulder.
First responders pronounced Dr. Khezri, his wife, Elham Javadi (also listed as Dr. Ellie Javadi in her professional life), 52, of Woodinville, and Brown deceased at the scene. The two occupants in the Honda CR-V were taken to Providence Medical Center with injuries. No alcohol or drugs are suspected as factors in the incident.
Dr. James Khezri, born in 1969 in Tehran, Iran, was a highly respected board-certified anesthesiologist with a deep passion for aesthetic medicine.
He began his medical career in Iran and discovered his love for aesthetics during medical school, where he enjoyed using his skills to help people feel more confident.
After moving to the United States in 2007 with his wife and their two young sons, he earned board certification here and built a successful career.
He worked as both an anesthesiologist and aesthetic physician at Northwest Face & Body, and later contributed his expertise at Allure Esthetic.
He truly loved his work with BOTOX, fillers, and other injectables, blending science and artistry to make immediate positive impacts on patients’ lives and appearances.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Khezri cherished family time, riding his motorcycle, painting, playing guitar, and always refining his skills in aesthetic medicine.
His wife, Dr. Ellie Javadi, was a skilled periodontist and dental implant surgeon. Originally from Iran, she earned her DDS there before advancing her training in the U.S., including at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in gum disease treatment and dental implants, helping patients regain confidence and function.
In 2019, she opened her own private practice, Orchid Periodontics & Dental Implants, in Edmonds, Washington, where she continued to serve the community with dedication.
Together since their move to the U.S., the couple built remarkable lives filled with milestones, raising their sons, pursuing their passions in medicine, and supporting each other every step of the way.
Dr. Khezri was known as an exceptional physician, but even more as an amazing father, devoted brother, and cherished friend who brought laughter and warmth wherever he went.
Allure Esthetic shared a touching tribute on social media:
“In loving memory of Dr. James Khezri (1969–2026). It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic and unexpected passing of Dr. James Khezri and his beautiful wife. We are completely heartbroken by this unimaginable loss. Dr. Khezri was so much more than an exceptional physician to his patients—he was an amazing father, a devoted brother, and a deeply cherished friend to all of us… Rest in peace, Dr. Khezri. You will always be in our hearts.”

The couple’s sudden loss leaves behind their two young sons, who now face an incredibly difficult future without their parents.
A GoFundMe campaign, organized by colleagues including Dr. Javad Sajan, has been set up to support the boys with immediate expenses, memorial costs, and ongoing needs during this devastating time.
It has already raised significant funds from the community, reflecting the deep impact Dr. Khezri and Dr. Javadi had on so many lives.
The Seattle area mourns this profound loss. Thoughts and prayers go out to their family, friends, patients, and everyone touched by their kindness and expertise.
