Retired MMA fighter and manager Tiki Ghosn has become the center of online controversy following a physical altercation with influencer-turned-boxer Nurideen Shabazz, better known as DeenTheGreat, at a livestreamed house party hosted by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
The confrontation, captured on video, quickly went viral, sparking debate over influencer behavior, alcohol-fueled drama, and accountability in the age of livestreamed events.
In the footage, Ghosn is seen striking Shabazz during a heated exchange.
The altercation reportedly began when Shabazz confronted Ghosn, questioning why he didn’t acknowledge him. “You do know who I am,” Shabazz demanded, to which Ghosn calmly responded, “I don’t know you. Nice to meet you, though.” The tension escalated until both men were separated by bystanders.
The confrontation also referenced an earlier incident involving powerlifter Larry Wheels, who slapped Shabazz on a previous livestream. Both incidents occurred on Shabazz’s KICK streaming channel, with Jackson, Ghosn’s client, appearing in both videos.
Tiki Ghosn, a Southern California native, competed professionally from 1998 to 2009 in the Welterweight division. Before MMA, he played defensive back at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana and briefly attended Orange Coast College, where he started training in Muay Thai as cross-training for football.
Ghosn fought in several prominent MMA promotions, including the UFC, Strikeforce, World Extreme Cagefighting, King of the Cage, and the World Fighting Alliance.
He was a founding member of Team Punishment alongside Tito Ortiz and Rob McCullough and trained with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
He has appeared as a guest coach on The Ultimate Fighter and worked with notable fighters such as Michael Bisping, Ken Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, and Jason Miller.
One of his most recognized fights was against future UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 40, where Ghosn was knocked out in under ninety seconds, though he later controversially claimed the fight ended due to a cut.
Ghosn was managed by UFC President Dana White prior to White’s leadership of the organization.
He is also the founder and CEO of the Huntington Beach Ultimate Training Center, established in 2001, and runs Arsenal Sports Agency, which represents athletes including Dustin Poirier, Aljamain Sterling, and Chael Sonnen.
Nurideen Shabazz, known online as DeenTheGreat, is a professional boxer and content creator with over 528,000 subscribers on YouTube.
He won his first seven boxing matches, with only one official non-exhibition win, and suffered his first recorded loss in an exhibition match against Amado Vargas in December 2025. Shabazz has built a following online since 2013 and regularly streams on KICK.
The incident has ignited discussions around livestream etiquette, alcohol-influenced behavior, influencer accountability, and potential legal consequences.
Fans and commentators alike have shared mixed reactions across social media, dissecting the clash between a former UFC veteran and a rising digital personality.
As the videos continue to circulate, questions remain about the broader impact on reputations, public disputes at celebrity parties, and how the MMA and streaming communities will respond.
