Alexander Leon Gumuchian, aka BBno$, announced that he was sued by Blizzard Entertainment regarding the use of Diablo-themed imagery and design on his website in February 2026.

While he works to resolve the issue, the site has been taken down.

Canadian rapper bbno$ has carved out a unique space in the music world with his playful humor, catchy beats, and undeniable hustle.

The now 30-year-old artist’s journey began unexpectedly after a back injury ended his dreams of becoming a competitive swimmer. It was during this time that he started experimenting with music, eventually finding his footing in the online world.

His big break came most unusually. Chinese superstar Jackson Yee used an early track of bbno$’s “Yoyo Tokyo” in a birthday dance video, introducing him to a massive audience and helping launch his career.

However, it was the 2019 single “Lalala” that made him a global sensation. The collaboration with producer Y2K became an inescapable hit, going viral on TikTok and accumulating billions of streams worldwide.

Bbno$ proved this success was no fluke by continuing to release a steady stream of popular music. His efforts were rewarded on a national level in 2025 when he won the Juno Fan Choice Award at Canada’s prestigious Juno Awards.

He shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to turn his unique brand of humor into serious success.

Rapper bbno$ Temporarily Shuts Down Website After Blizzard Legal Threat

Canadian rapper bbno$ has temporarily taken his website offline after receiving a legal notice from gaming giant Blizzard Entertainment over Diablo-themed content.

The artist is known for his humorous and often retro-style online presence. However, a joke about the classic video game Diablo seems to have landed him in hot water.

Fans attempting to visit his official site, bbnomula.com, are now greeted by an error page, the infamous Windows Blue Screen of Death.

Prior to this, the site featured a deliberately retro 1990s aesthetic. Archived versions of the page show a design that evoked the early Diablo games through its specific typography and background style, complete with animated GIFs.

Blizzard Entertainment’s legal team did not see the humor. In a social media post, bbno$ shared the legal notice he received, which demanded immediate action.

This notice is issued on behalf of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., the representatives of the ‘Diablo’ franchise and its respective intellectual property.
You are hereby ordered to remove all infringing Diablo-related content immediately from your website unless you are interested in reaching a settlement for your misuse of our intellectual property.

The unusual dispute between the music and gaming worlds has drawn strong reactions from fans, many of whom have voiced their support for the musician online.

Following the notice, Bbno$ addressed the situation online, explaining the site’s status

My website is down. currently getting sued right now. sorry guys working on getting this resolved,
