Samuel Edozie and his younger brother Tom Edozie share a close bond and a common football journey.

Samuel Ikechukwu Edozie is an English professional footballer born on 28 January 2003 in Lewisham, South London, England.

He primarily plays as a winger (attacking wide forward) and is known for his pace, dribbling, and attacking threat on the flank.

Edozie began his youth career with Millwall before joining the Manchester City academy in 2019.

He made his senior debut playing for Manchester City in the 2021 FA Community Shield against Leicester City.

In September 2022, he signed a five-year contract with Southampton FC, where he quickly established himself in the first team, featuring in both the Premier League and the EFL Championship.

He scored his first professional goal for Southampton in a 2–1 win over Queens Park Rangers in August 2023.

Edozie also spent the 2024–25 season on loan at Belgian club RSC Anderlecht, where he continued to develop, scoring goals and gaining European experience.

Internationally, Samuel has represented England at the youth level and was named in England’s squad for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

While he’s eligible to represent Nigeria through his father, he has so far played for England in youth internationals.

Thomas Edozie, aka Tom, is the younger brother of Samuel Edozie. Like his brother, Tom is also a footballer and plays as an attacking winger.

Born on 18 May 2006, he has featured as a right winger and attacking midfielder.

Tom has been part of the Wolverhampton Wanderers U21 setup in England, continuing the family tradition in the sport and progressing through the youth ranks.

He signed his first professional contract with Wolves in August 2024 following an impressive run in the Premier League 2, where he scored five goals in 17 matches.

Edozie’s rise accelerated in 2025 when he made his senior debut for Wolves.

In February 2026, he scored a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer against Arsenal F.C., earning a 2–2 draw and describing the moment as a “dream come true.”

Earlier, his goals for the under-21s—including a standout free-kick against Manchester United’s youth side—cemented his reputation as a decisive performer.

Like Samuel, Tom grew up in England and developed his skills from an early age, following a similar path through grassroots football.

Tom began his journey at the grassroots level before earning a scholarship at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022.

He has since progressed to Wolves’ Under-21s, signed his first professional contract, and become known for his attacking ability, creativity, and technical skills on the wing.

Although not yet at a senior level like Samuel, he is considered a promising young talent and continues to build his football career within the English system.
