Abraham Feinbloom is now in jail facing serious charges after a terrible case that started with a missing teenage girl named T’Neya Tovar, affectionately known as TT.

This all began back on December 1, 2025, when 17-year-old T’Neya Tovar went missing from her home in Hemet, which is in Riverside County.

Reportedly, she was last seen heading to Thermal, California, about 70 miles away, because she was going to meet a man she knew.

Her mother, Charro Tovar, explained that T’Neya always shared her location with family and friends, but that day everything just stopped with no calls, no messages, nothing.

Weeks passed with no word, and then on December 21, deputies from the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office got a call about human remains in a remote area near Portsmouth Avenue and Newhaven Court in Vista Del Mar, part of Salton City.

According to the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office, they found a leg that was already decomposing.

The coroner took it for examination, but at first, no one could tell who it belonged to, with no obvious proof of age, race, or anything obvious.

Nonetheless, investigators kept working on it. They did everything in their power to make things work, like they built a DNA profile and checked databases, but nothing matched right away.

Then, on February 6, 2026, reports hit on a female DNA match. Knowing about T’Neya’s missing person report from Riverside County, they reached out to her mother for a DNA swab. They did a quick comparison, and it came back positive, which means the leg was T’Neya’s.

From there, detectives zeroed in on Abraham Feinbloom, who is 51 and lives in Salton City. His house on Harlequin Court is only about half a mile from where the leg was found.

On February 13, sheriff’s deputies teamed up with the FBI to serve a search warrant at his place.

When they got there, Feinbloom tried to get away by jumping a fence, but officers caught him right away. They took him into custody on suspicion of murder and resisting a peace officer.

They also learned that Feinbloom and T’Neya had been in contact since October 2025. Later, Feinbloom ended up booked into the Imperial County Jail with no bail allowed.

He was formally charged with murder, plus two extra enhancements because a firearm was involved. In fact, he was accused of using and discharging one during the crime.

Court records show investigators believe T’Neya died from a gunshot wound, and bullet fragments were found in the leg that was recovered.

When police arrested him, he had his passport and some Thai currency with him, which made the judge see him as a flight risk. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and is set to go back to court soon for the next hearing.

This was a big investigation with help from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, and the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office.

However, so far, only the leg has been found, with no other remains having turned up publicly.

Above all, this isn’t the first time Feinbloom has been involved with the law, but he has had some past trouble with the law, too.

Court records mention he faced felony kidnapping charges in Imperial County a few years back, but those got dismissed after a hearing. There were other charges, like fraud, that didn’t stick either.

None of that changes the current case, though, as he is being held without bail while things move forward.
