The city of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, has been shaken by the heartbreaking case of La’Niyah Clark, a 15‑year‑old girl affectionately known as “Lala.”
She was reported missing by her adoptive family on January 17, 2026. Her disappearance quickly drew concern from relatives and community members.
Vigils were held, and her biological grandmother, Sabrina Smith, publicly pleaded for answers, saying, “I can never get her back. There’s nothing they can do to give any of that back.”
