A lot of folks know him from the show where he helps match people up on dates, but he keeps his personal life pretty quiet and out of the spotlight most of the time.
His wife is someone he affectionately calls Fruitcake, and that’s the name he uses whenever he talks about her or posts pictures. So far, her real name isn’t something he shares with the public.
Although she is widely known as Fruitcake, she has made several appearances alongside Fred on the popular show Celebrity Gogglebox, where viewers got to see their natural chemistry. Even though she is comfortable being on camera with him, she chooses not to use her real name.
Fred’s wife is Jamaican, and the two of them have been together since around 2018. They first crossed paths in Peckham, London.
They got engaged back in March 2020, but then everything got delayed because of the pandemic, so they waited a while before finally saying their vows.
Fred and Fruitcake walked down the aisle in February 2025 in Negril, Jamaica, at Pattoo Castle, with family and friends all around to celebrate.
The couple doesn’t have kids; however, Fred has two kids from an earlier relationship, a daughter named Andrea, who does professional diving and even won a bronze medal at the Olympics, plus a son called Lucien.
Fred often speaks about her with immense pride. One of the most significant public acknowledgments of their relationship happened during Fred’s time in the Australian jungle for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in late 2023.
