Emily Marie Drake, the daughter of Derrick and Sandra Drake, was born on August 10, 1998, and grew up with her brother, Derrick, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The talented aesthetician was a woman of many beautiful facets.
She was a sweet little girl to her parents, whose soft and caring nature blossomed into the determination and work ethic of a successful entrepreneur. They watched her grow with a sense of bursting pride and joy.
She was a steady, constant source of infectious laughter, honest advice, and quiet inspiration to her brother and sister-in-law. Moreover, she was the definition of a sweet, loving, and dependable person to her wide circle of friends.

Never in a million years would I have expected to be writing this post. Emily – thank you for being my sister, and most importantly, my friend. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that those who knew you will never be the same without you in their lives. The world needs more of what you gave while you were with us. More honesty, more laughter, more sincerity. The world needs more Emily.
