Pryce Nolan Redmon, a brave 11-year-old who fought stage IV neuroblastoma through four relapses, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family after his heroic battle.

The community of Oakland Township, Michigan, is mourning the loss of a truly special young boy, 11-year-old Pryce Nolan Redmon, who passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving parents and siblings in his final moments.

Pryce was born on May 2, 2015. His family shared the heartbreaking news through their Facebook page, Prayers for Pryce, a community that followed his journey for years. In their post, they wrote:

“We ended up staying at Mott longer, but made it home today where Pryce passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his parents & siblings. Pryce’s PICU team did an amazing job making sure he was stable enough to come home. The ambulance crew kept him comfortable all the way home. And the hospice nurses supported us through it all. We are so grateful we could keep our promise to him to get him home, even if it wasn’t the way we were hoping & praying for. Thank you to all of you for your prayers, messages, cards, etc. Pryce knew he was loved and enjoyed seeing your comments & opening packages. We are working on arrangements and will post them soon. Thank you, again, for walking this journey with us.”

Pryce fought bravely against Stage IV neuroblastoma, a tough form of childhood cancer. He was first diagnosed in August 2018 at just 3 years old, when the cancer started as a main tumor on his right kidney and spread to his bones and other areas.

Over the years, he faced multiple relapses, four or more by many accounts, and endured rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, and other intense treatments at places like C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor and Beaumont Children’s Hospital.

Despite everything, Pryce never lost his sweet spirit or strong will. He stayed positive, loving simple joys like math, video games, basketball, and spending time with his four older siblings.

During his treatments, Pryce wore Brave Gowns, special hospital gowns designed to make kids feel more comfortable and brave.

His family now wants to honor him by gifting Brave Gowns to other children at Mott Children’s Hospital.

Their goal is to provide 400 gowns, one for each child in the hospital, since most kids go through about three gowns per day. No donation is too small, and it’s a beautiful way to keep Pryce’s light shining for others facing similar battles.

Radio personality Jay Towers remembered Pryce fondly. Pryce joined one of Jay’s junior trips in December 2025, a special experience for young people. Jay shared:

“With broken hearts, we say goodbye to Pryce Nolan Redmon. Pryce was part of our Jay’s Juniors trip in December 2025, and we will never forget his smile, his strength, and the light he brought to everyone around him. Please keep his beautiful family in your prayers.”

Pryce touched so many lives with his courage and kindness. His story brought people together in prayer and support through the Prayers for Pryce page on Facebook and Instagram, where thousands followed along and sent love.

Even in his hardest days, he remained a typical kid at heart, full of energy when he could be, and always grateful for the people around him.

The family is now making arrangements and will share details soon. In the meantime, thoughts and prayers continue to pour in for Pryce’s parents, siblings, and everyone who loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his brave heart and bright smile will live on in the memories of all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Pryce.
