Whitner Slagsvol, a handsome lawyer, rose to stardom after making his debut as a new Southern Charm Season 11 cast member.
He wasted no time in showing off his sense of humor to the viewers when he joined Shep Rose and Austen Kroll for some surfing on episode 2 of Season 11.
Whitner Slagsvol founded his own law firm, Slagsvol Law Firm, in July 2017, bringing a work ethic shaped by the outdoors, a communicator’s instinct, and a leader’s mindset.
He was a Charleston School of Law graduate and became a liens coordinator at Anastopoulo Law Firm before moving to The Lokey Law Firm as an associate attorney.

If you’ve been watching Southern Charm season 11, you’ve met Whitner Slagsvol, the sharp, outdoorsy lawyer who has been stirring up the Charleston social scene.
While Slagsvol is becoming a TV personality in his own right, viewers are also curious about the family behind him.
Whitner Slagsvol’s parents are publicly identified only by the social media shorthand “Mwslags” and “Bslagsvol.”
Their full names are not provided.
He grew up with his sister, Sarah Bella Slagsvol, who has a past connection to the show. Craig Conover brought her as his date to an event back in 2017.
Slagsvol’s family has an interesting geographic blend. His family is originally from Colombia.
At the same time, they have deep American roots. His family has ties to South Carolina dating all the way back to the Revolutionary War.
His buddy and fellow cast member Shep Rose, whose own family is from neighboring Camden, has pointed out that they share a lot in common due to their heritage.

Slagsvol is also reportedly the nephew of Jane Slagsvol, the widow of legendary musician Jimmy Buffett.
Jane and Jimmy married in 1977 and were together for 46 years until his passing in September 2023. While Whitner keeps his immediate parents relatively private, this connection to the Buffett family adds another layer of interest to his background.
