The Criminal Investigation Division of the Logan Township Police Department conducted an extensive 2-week investigation and arrested Nicholas Cristini for unlawful contact with a 15-year-old minor.

The members of the local group “814PredHunter” reported the news, and Cristini was arrested on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

814PredHunter is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to exposing online child predators to protect their community. This group is made up of ordinary citizens, and anyone can be a decoy.

They are not law enforcement, but they act as a diligent neighbor, using investigative techniques to identify adults who are actively seeking to exploit minors online. Keeping children safe has moved beyond the playground and into the vast world of the internet in the digital age.

The volunteers of 814PredHunter posing as minors go into online spaces where predators may lurk. When they identify an adult making sexually explicit advances or attempting to arrange meetings, they document the interactions.

Their final step is to publicly reveal the predator’s identity and actions through video exposés and community alerts.
